GEC alumni community
After completing your Camp USA program, you become part of GEC’s mission to promote mutual understanding through cultural exchange. GEC alumni have built a diverse global community across many fields, countries and professional paths.
Staying connected helps you keep the relationships, lessons and confidence gained during camp alive beyond the summer.
Share your feedback
GEC values participant feedback. Your thoughts and comments help improve the Camp USA experience for future counselors, host camps and international partners.
- Share what worked well during your program
- Tell GEC where support could be clearer
- Report challenges honestly and constructively
- Complete any post-program survey or follow-up request
Tell your story
Your camp story can help future participants understand what the experience feels like in real life. Photos, reflections, testimonials and practical tips can make the program more relatable for new applicants.
Before sharing photos or names publicly, follow your camp’s media and privacy policies, especially when campers are involved.
Keep your records
Even after the program ends, keep copies of important documents such as your DS-2019, visa page, Social Security number, tax documents, W-2, pay records and employer contact details.
These records may be useful for tax filing, future U.S. visa applications, job references or another cultural exchange program.
Stay reachable
Keep your email address active and update important contacts if your address changes after the program. If GEC or your host camp needs to send documents or follow-up information, accurate contact details help prevent delays.
If you need help after returning home, contact GEC or your local partner with your full name, program year and host camp information.
